I finally got a new website set up for my 3D printing hobby. I went with Wordpress on Hostinger. So far I am really pleased.

I’ve replaced Day One with Diarium. Diarium is a 1 time cost and I can sync with my service of choice. It has an Importer as well so I lost nothing. Only thing I am iffy on is the name.

I am tired of all my various subscriptions. I know developers need to be paid but I need to start simplifying. I need apps that solve multiple problems. Too often, I have paid apps that only solve 1 problem.

I have started replacing Evernote with Joplin. I am really impressed with the app. Everything is stored in markdown and there are numerous sync options including Joplin cloud (paid), Dropbox, and OneDrive.

Taking a look at hostinger.com and namecheap.com to host a Wordpress site. The reviews for hosting Dr seem to be better and mention good load times. Just trying to figure out the best deal.

One last thought before a nap. Could it be that Elon Musk is going extra heavy with the controversy to drive traffic to twitter? People comment on his every post driving engagement. As a bonus thought, “Stop feeding the trolls!”

I am looking hard at how I can consolidate some of my note taking apps. I have subscriptions to Evernote and Notion and also use Obsidian. Does anyone have any strong thoughts on what I should be doing? I am struggling between Notion and Evernote.
